DOMAIN REGISTRATION AGREEMENT

This Domain Registration Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the registration, renewal, transfer, and management of domain names provided through Zettako (“we”, “us”, “our”) as a reseller of domain registration services.
By using domain services through Zettako, you agree to this Agreement, our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and any applicable registrar or registry terms.
1. ROLE AS RESELLER
Zettako acts as a reseller and intermediary of domain registration services.
Domain names are registered through third-party accredited registrars and registry operators, who retain ultimate control over domain registration systems.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- we are not an ICANN-accredited registrar;
- domain registrations are ultimately governed by the applicable registrar and registry policies;
- we are not responsible for decisions made by registries or registrars, including suspension, deletion, or refusal of registration.
2. DOMAIN REGISTRATION PROCESS
Domain registration is subject to:
- availability of the domain name;
- acceptance by the relevant registrar and registry;
- compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
Submission of a domain order does not guarantee successful registration.
A domain is only considered registered once confirmed by the relevant registry system.
3. OWNERSHIP AND USE
Subject to successful registration and continued payment:
- you are granted the right to use the domain for the registration period;
- you are responsible for maintaining accurate WHOIS/registrant information;
- failure to provide accurate information may result in suspension or loss of the domain.
Domain names are not “owned” permanently and remain subject to registry rules.
4. RENEWALS AND EXPIRATION
Domains must be renewed before expiration to avoid loss of service.
Unless otherwise stated:
- renewal notices may be sent as a courtesy, but are not guaranteed;
- failure to renew may result in domain suspension, redemption fees, or permanent loss;
- we are not responsible for domains that expire due to non-payment or failure to renew.
Expired domains may enter:
- renewal grace periods (if supported by the registry)
- redemption periods (subject to additional fees)
- deletion and public re-registration
We are not responsible if a domain is lost due to registry timelines or policies.
5. AUTO-RENEWAL
Where enabled:
- domains may be automatically renewed prior to expiry;
- you authorise us to charge your payment method for renewal fees;
- failure of payment may result in domain expiration.
Auto-renewal does not guarantee successful renewal if registry-level restrictions apply.
6. TRANSFERS
6.1 Transfers In
Domain transfers into Zettako are subject to:
- registrar approval;
- valid authorization codes (EPP/Auth codes);
- registry rules and waiting periods.
6.2 Transfers Out
You may request transfer of domains to another provider, subject to:
- compliance with registry policies;
- no outstanding balances;
- completion of required authentication steps.
We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party registrars or registries.
7. SUSPENSION AND DOMAIN DISABLEMENT
We may suspend, lock, or disable domain services where:
- required by law or registry policy;
- abuse or fraudulent activity is detected;
- payment is overdue or disputed;
- the domain is linked to violations of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.
During suspension, domains may not resolve or may be placed in client/server hold status.
Domains may be suspended, transferred, or revoked by registry operators or competent authorities without prior notice, and we are not responsible for such actions.
8. PRICING AND FEES
Domain pricing is subject to change based on registrar costs and registry pricing.
We may adjust:
- registration fees
- renewal fees
- transfer fees
- redemption or restoration fees
Registry price changes may be applied immediately without prior notice.
9. REFUNDS
Refunds are governed exclusively by our Refund Policy, available at https://zettako.net/legal/refund-policy.
Domain registrations are generally:
- non-refundable once submitted to the registry;
- non-reversible once registered or renewed.
Refunds are only provided where:
- a technical error prevents registration; and
- the registry confirms non-completion.
In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms of Service and the Refund Policy, the Refund Policy shall prevail. No refunds are guaranteed unless explicitly stated in the Refund Policy or required by applicable law.
10. DISPUTES
Domain disputes are governed by applicable registry policies, including but not limited to:
- ICANN Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP)
- registry-specific dispute mechanisms
We are not a party to domain ownership disputes and are not liable for outcomes.
We have no control over registry operations, including but not limited to domain allocation, suspension, deletion, redemption periods, or pricing changes imposed by registries or registrars.
11. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date registrant information.
You are responsible for:
- legal ownership details
- contact email accuracy
- administrative and technical contact information
Failure to maintain accurate data may result in loss of domain rights.
You acknowledge that domain registration requires submission of registrant information that may be published in WHOIS or equivalent registry databases. Privacy protection services may be offered where supported, but cannot guarantee full anonymity due to registry and legal obligations.
12. LIABILITY LIMITATION
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for loss of domain names due to expiration, registry action, or transfer failure;
- we are not responsible for downtime or DNS failures outside our control;
- we are not liable for disputes between registrants or third parties.
Domains are provided on an “as available” basis.
You acknowledge that loss of a domain name due to non-renewal, incorrect information, registry action, or transfer failure is your sole responsibility.
13. REGISTRY AND REGISTRAR TERMS
All domain registrations are additionally subject to:
- applicable registry policies;
- registrar terms of service;
- ICANN policies where applicable.
In the event of conflict, registry and registrar rules take precedence.
14. CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT
We may update this Agreement from time to time.
Continued use of domain services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
